How To Make Wise Decisions

Have you ever felt nervous about making a decision that could affect the rest of your life?  Sometimes even seemingly minor decisions can send you into a fit of anxiety when you begin thinking of all the things that could go wrong.

It’s fairly common for people to vacillate back and forth between several choices, whether they are related to career, money, business, opportunities, or even relationships.  How do you know which choice is the best one for you in any given situation?  Sometimes the best choice is obvious, but other times they all seem to hold a glimmer of possibility – and the threat of regret.

The good news is that making wise decisions is a matter of weighing the potential pros and cons of every available outcome.  Below you’ll find a simple 3-step process to help you make wise decisions no matter what part of your life they may affect.

1)  What Do You Stand to Gain?

When you’ve got more than one option to choose from, a great first question to ask of each one is, “What do I stand to gain from choosing this option?”  If the rewards are big, you might be willing to withstand a bit of risk in order to benefit from the opportunity.  Conversely, if the payoff would be small, you might not feel so confident about taking a chance right now.

2)  What Do You Stand to Lose?

The next question to ask is, “What do I stand to lose if this option doesn’t work out?”  No one likes to think of the negatives in a potential opportunity, but you could save yourself a lot of heartache with a bit of foresight!  If your losses could be huge with a particular option, you might decide to hold off for awhile to see if the odds improve over time.

3)  What’s the Worst Thing that Could Happen?

Finally, take it one step further and ask, “What is the worst thing that could happen if I choose this option, and would I be willing to accept those consequences?”  It may seem like a very pessimistic question, but it’s extremely effective at clarifying the situation!  If you couldn’t handle the consequences of making such a choice, then you know immediately that it’s not the right choice for you at this time.  If, on the other hand, the consequences wouldn’t be so bad, you know it’s a viable option for you.

What do you do if all of your options hold the same potential rewards and consequences?  Go with your gut!  Take a few minutes to think carefully about each possibility, and then choose the one you feel strongest about.

When it comes right down to it, there are no guarantees in decision-making.  You simply weigh the pros and cons, listen to your intuition, and do the best you can.  In the end, there really isn’t any such thing as a “bad” decision, because you do learn something from each one you make.  If you keep that in mind you should grow more confident with each choice you make, which will help you make even better decisions in the future.

Motivation And Momentum

One of the most difficult parts of goal achievement is simply getting started.  It’s easy enough to dream and plan, but many people get stuck in this phase indefinitely and avoid taking action.  Planning and dreaming might make you feel like you’re doing something about your goals, but if you never actually take a step forward you’ll never achieve them.  In order to see measurable progress, you have to step out of your comfort zones and take action.

When you finally do gather your courage and begin moving forward, what usually happens?  You realize it’s WAY harder than you thought it would be, right?  It feels like you’re trying to run uphill.  You keep tripping over obstacles, facing setbacks and delays, dealing with fear and anxiety, and fighting a daily battle to stay motivated.

It’s during this difficult phase that most people give up.  They decide that “it isn’t meant to be” right now, so they set their dream aside and vow to try again later.  Or worse, they resign themselves to a mediocre life because they don’t believe they have what it takes to succeed.  They’ve “failed,” so they’re not going to try any more.

Have you done this?  Most people have!

However, this doesn’t have to be the end of the story.  You can pick up your dreams, dust them off and try again.  But this time you should know about a little something called Momentum.

You see, the difficult phase I just described is what happens at the beginning when you’re trying to gain momentum.  Most people quit during this phase because they think it’s ALWAYS going to be this hard.  What they don’t realize is that every effort they put toward the achievement of their goals will build on the previous efforts.  With every step forward the process gets easier and easier.  Finally, they’ve put so much energy and effort into the process that momentum begins to take over.  Suddenly they realize that they don’t have to push so hard to keep moving forward.  It becomes fun . . . even easy to achieve their goal.

This same experience can be yours!  All you have to do is keep moving forward.  Keep working toward your dreams and never quit.  Momentum WILL take over eventually!

If you want to get momentum working even more quickly for you there are a few ways to do it, but they can be summed up in one sentence:

Be willing to work harder, faster and take bigger risks than you have in the past.

The reason why momentum can be delayed sometimes is because many people take very tentative steps toward their goals.  They’re afraid to really give it their all, so they hold back much of the energy and power they could be devoting toward their goal.  Even if they’re not aware of it, they may feel more comfortable working at a slower pace, so they avoid taking big risks and instead take baby steps.

There’s not a thing wrong with this approach if it suits you!  However, if you want to make faster progress and build momentum quickly, think about taking bigger steps and giving your full energy and focus toward making it happen.  By doing so, you’ll push through the difficult beginning and find yourself coasting before you know it.

Give Your Bedroom An Elegant Look

A good way to make your bedroom elegant is with a sleigh bed. Have you ever wondered what they are? These types of beds feature curved headboards and foot boards. They are made to resemble an old fashioned sleigh.

Around two hundred years ago, these beds came into existence. This was the time known as the Empire period. This time was famous for its lavish design in furnishings. Many things were made to resemble the ancient Roman Empire. High headboards that curved were a big feature of this bed. Many of the first beds made were solid wood. This made them very heavy furniture.

Often times, people would set these beds in the middle of their bedrooms. They were so fancy and elegant that they became the main feature in the room. They gained a great deal of popularity in France. Before long, the popularity spread to the United States.

Materials

These beds are available in several types of material. Wood will give your room an expensive look. You can choose metal, also. There is more than one type of metal. You can also buy an upholstered bed that resembles an old time sleigh.

Wood

Wood sleighs have become popular these days. Make sure that you choose a wood that will go with your bedroom decor. You may not wish to mix light and dark woods in your room. Walnut is a dark, rich looking wood. Mahogany is a lighter wood. However, it is usually stained with a dark reddish stain. It will go well with darker woods. You will often see mahogany in expensive, well-made furniture. It resists swelling and shrinking.

Some of the lighter woods include cherry. It will gradually darken with age. Maple is a lighter wood. It may have a yellowish appearance. Maple is a durable wood. It takes stains well. You can stain maple to resemble walnut.

Metal beds

Metal beds that resemble sleighs will give you a contemporary look. They may have a high shine like brass beds. They can be made from iron, steel, or aluminum. A metal king sleigh bed will add a touch of class to your bedroom.

Upholstered beds

Perhaps you need a cozy, warm air to your bedroom. An upholstered bed may give you the look that you seek. Leather is a popular choice for upholstery. For less money, you may go with imitation leather.

Conclusion

Would you like your bedroom to take on an air of elegance? You might wish to put a queen sleigh bed in your room. This may give you the touch of class that you desire. Do you want a wooden bed? There are many types of dark and light woods available. Maybe you want a metal bed that shines like brass. There are several types available. You can also purchase an upholstered bed, for that warm cozy, feeling.

How To Expect The Best

How to Expect the Best

Do you ever find yourself getting stuck in negative thought patterns and expecting the worst possible outcome in every situation?  It’s a common mind-set that proves difficult to change when you finally decide you’ve had enough.  Unfortunately, negative thoughts tend to breed and multiply on their own – even when you’re not consciously trying to think negatively.

The good news is that turning a negative outlook into a positive one just takes a bit of patience and persistence until the positive thoughts begin to take over.

Below you’ll find three simple steps to begin forming positive expectations on a daily basis:

1) Develop self-awareness to recognize negative expectations.  One problem with negative thoughts is that they often form below your conscious level of awareness, and you get so used to them being in your head that you hardly notice anymore.  To turn the tide of negativity, you’ll have to develop a stronger level of self-awareness.  One good way to start is by performing self-checks several times a day.  Pay attention first to how you feel.  If you’re feeling positive and productive, most likely you’ve been thinking positive thoughts.

However, if you notice that you’re feeling irritable, pessimistic or stressed, you’re probably focusing more on negative thoughts.  When that happens:

2) Challenge and change the negative thoughts.  Believe it or not, it’s fairly easy to challenge and change negative thoughts with a little willpower and concentration.  For example, if you find yourself feeling doubtful about your ability to finish your work on time, you might engage in a bit of self-talk like this:  “Okay, so I’m feeling a bit worried right now, but really everything is okay.  I’m strong, I’m smart and I’m capable of finishing my work on time.  I’ll do my best and everything will work out fine.”  Even though nothing has changed in your outer circumstances, this type of self-talk can get you thinking and feeling more positive.

3) At the same time, while you’re changing negative thoughts to positive, work daily on developing a general positive expectation habit.  Each day when you wake up, affirm confidently, “Today is going to be a great day!  Everything will go my way and I’ll enjoy plenty of lucrative opportunities and fun!”

When you encounter obstacles or problems, see them as opportunities to learn, grow and strengthen yourself.  Perception is 99% of the game!  If you simply work on shifting the way you look at the experiences of your life, you can easily conquer your negative thought habits.

The more you focus on changing your perspective to emphasize the positive, you’ll empower yourself to create better circumstances in your life.  Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying better and more frequent opportunities and attracting other likeminded, successful people to connect with.

Law Of Attraction Coach: Things To Avoid On A Date, And How You Can Better Your Dating Experience

Law of Attraction Life Coach Video

Nanette Geiger, Law of Attraction Relationship Coach , writes… …

Five Practices To AVOID While On a Date.

1. Competition. This isn’t the place to compare yourself, your Ex-, your achievements, with your prospect’s.

2. Skill. Having to prove how good you are at being an enjoyable partner is unnecessary work and it will manifest.

3. Chance. Remember you chose to go on this date. Ultimately, chance isn’t a factor.

4. Endurance. A date is not a competition to find out who can last the longest at being entertaining and amusing.

5. Rules. Rigid rules are the end to possibility.

Five Practices to Engage in When Dating.

1. Play. Although these may sound simple, I will bet many of you do not look at dating as a playful exercise. Remember when you were the carefree child making castles in the mud? How perfect was that? Not a care in the world, nothing to prove. Simply muddy fun! Look for ways to go into your date with fun. Find fun even if your date is a serious type. Make the game of the night to look for fun. You do not have to see him or her again if they can’t play and have fun. Using the Law of Attraction is hugely powerful for Relationships Attraction, and is not hard to understand.

2. Laugh. A close relative of Play, laughing is the most infectious way to spread joy. Prior to going on a date, most importantly, the first date, tell yourself that you will meaningfully look for reasons to feel wonderful and laugh. Smile a lot. At the waitress or waiter, at the host. Just smile for no reason.

3. Listen. This is one of the most important ways to build a relationship with your date. Deep listening means when you turn off the voices in your head and tune in to the things the person across the table is saying. Granted, your critical voice may be wanting to chime in for a variety of reasons. You don’t like the way he slurps his soup. She’s always playing with her hair. Stuff like that can be distracting from the main purpose. Simply notice yourself being distracted and pull yourself back. Again, you do not need to see them again. This is an important practice, however, and it’s a building block for intimacy. You will want to use this quality in your long term relationship, so why not get your practice in now. By the way, you do not have to listen just in the dating scene. You can attract your own Law of Attraction Relationships right now and increase your level of creative energy!

4. Eye Contact. Do not simply make eye contact and bob your head. Engage in deep listening while maintaining eye contact. This is a wonderful communication of your own generosity. And I can promise you, your generosity will come back to you. If you need the support of a Law of Attraction Coach, by all means go get it! Using an unbiased listener to check in with will help you move off old patterns much faster.

5. Communicate. When it is your time to speak, strive for clarity and being heard. Since you have given your attention to your date, desire the same. You have not interrupted him or her while he or she has been talking. If an interruption occurs, request the same manners. You can be easy-going and nice about it without causing it to be a problem. Simply kindly ask for what you want. Being confident in this takes much pressure off your date. By doing this your date firmly knows what you prefer.

It does not matter if you are twenty-five or seventy-five in the dating scene – just like life – if approached as a fun game, one in which there are no losers, your date will go much more smoothly for everyone.

Law Of Attraction Coach: Looks Are Not Everything

Law of Attraction Coach

Nanette Geiger, Relationship Specialist , writes… …

These are the results from a study taken by a popular dating site.

What are the most important aspects in a partner:

1. Appearance 11%

2. Personality 30%

3. Body 5%

4. Sense of Humor 14%

5. Eyes 10%

6. Popularity 0%

7. Smile 12%

8. Hair 7%

9. Education 7%

10. Career 3%

So you see, personality rated top, with none of the others coming close!

What does this say about a person? What does it say about the dater and the datee? This says that personality, no matter what side of the fence you’re on, is a desireable character trait from either person’s point of view.

Now, ‘Looks’ is often categorized as a visual representation of a person’s persona. But as I have explained, ‘Personality’ was rated number one. Personality, self-confidence, an engaging demeaner, warmth, and authenticity are the traits that win out over visual appearance. So many of us are hung up on physical appearance, we get stopped before we begin. If you need the support of a Law of Attraction Coach, by all means go get support! Having an independent listener to check in with will help you move away from old patterns much more quickly.

What are aspects of personality? Confidence. Self-confidence to be exact. The capability of relaxing, enjoying, and communicating in relaxed and engaging subjects. Empowering yourself with the Law of Attraction is amazingly powerful for Relationships Attraction, and it’s not difficult to grasp.

What are basic characteristics of being self-confident?

1. Knowing what you want.

2. Being assured of yourself. Being sure that what you want is within your reach.

3. Self-esteem. Knowing you’re worthy of what you want.

4. Poise. Under most situations you keep calm.

What I’m getting at is the non-physical aspects of ‘Personality’. An engaging personality has little to do with physical looks. You can manifest your own Law of Attraction Relationships right now and increase your level of creative energy!

Many people I have met, whether they’re getting back into the dating game, or just thinking about it get halted with forces of the game. “I’m not a spring chicken anymore.” “I cannot compete with the hotties.” “The singles scene seems so superficial.”

That type of internal dialogue will never get you back out into circulation. Feeling confident, holding an engaging attitude, always having a ready, genuine smile and acting kindly, are the best traits to hold to. Realize that you do not need to do the singles thing. You can find Mr. or Ms. Right in the grocery store, at church, on a bike ride, anywhere. Do not limit yourself by what others say.

Law Of Attraction Coach: Are You Energetically Equal To Your Desires?

Law of Attraction Coach

Nanette Geiger, Law of Attraction Best Selling Author , writes… …

My husband and I just returned from a Miracle Caribbean Cruise. Why was it a miracle? Well, it was one hundred percent free of charge and it just came out of the blue and came into our laps. Not only that, but a large portion of the big icons in the Self-Improvement world were on it. Maybe you’ve heard about the Bob Proctor Life Success cruise. We had the opportunity to connect, brainstorm, and rub elbows with Bob Proctor, Mark Victor Hansen, Michael and Rickie Beckwith, bestselling authors, Peggy McColl and Debbie Ford and a bunch of others!

One Thursday morning, I was just finishing my meditation. My husband was walking down the stairs and I had just announced to him that my creating of having some big name supporters backing our publishing campaign of my book, which back then was just shy of being released, was complete. It really felt like my intentions were already synced up. A few hours later, Robert, my husband, emailed our publishing coach. When she responded to his email, she wanted us to go on the cruise. Apparently she had an extra cabin and desired for us to have it. Using the Law of Attraction is amazingly helpful for Relationships Attraction, and it’s not difficult to understand.

We considered it for only a split second and said ‘YES’. The next day we headed to Ft. Lauderdale, and the rest is history.

What I have just explained is the capability of becoming attuned with your desires. That is, what you desire, how you are feeling about something and what shows up is always a match. I love it when stuff like this happens. It’s like a huge green light from the Universe telling me I am right on track! A Law of Attraction Coach can help you right now to free yourself from old limiting thought patterns that inhibit your happiness.

Of course, I would be lying if I said this is not always the case. You can manifest your own Law of Attraction Relationships today and increase your positive vibration!

“This is always going to be true: What I think and how I feel, and what manifests, is continuously a vibrational match. But here is the big kicker: What comes into your life is not manifesting instantaneously. So, you’ve got all this waiting time acting as leeway that makes you sloppy… If you thought a negative thought and a brick instantly fell on your head every time, you’d clean up your thinking. But you’re not here to be punished about your thinking. You are here to use your mind — and your focus — to manifest.”

~ Excerpted from an Abraham-Hicks workshop in Washington, DC. May 7th 2005.

Decreased Self-Esteem Is Stopping You From Living Your Manifestations

Law of Attraction Life Coach Video

Nanette Geiger, Relationship Expert , writes… …

Most people fail to even realize that they have limiting energy or emotion in early experiences. Negative emotion, be it strong or mild, does not feel good and a lot of us simply learn to disregard it, deal with it, or send it deeper into the subconscious. We tend to not complete traumatizing emotional experiences.

You’ve heard the words “emotional baggage.” Most of us walk around carrying old, unfinished, painful, intense feelings still kept somewhere in our minds. These things are an energy pattern that sometimes turns into physical problems which after a while turn into chronic pain, and eventually (unless balanced) into illness. If you need the help of a Law of Attraction Coach, by all means get support! Using an unbiased listener to check in with can help you move away from outdated patterns much faster.

I wanted to put down this basis for that which resides beneath this current of feelings of less than, low self-esteem, and lack of complete self-acceptance and self-appreciation. These are biggies for most of us. However, things can be radically different quickly if you’re willing to do a bit of work.

When you’ve acquired an energy pattern that is running you (consciously or subconsciously) there is an energy field, a vibration that continually projects to the Universe… I’m not good enough, capable of loving enough, thin, rich, pretty, smart enough or whatever. Using the Law of Attraction is amazingly helpful for Relationships Attraction, and is not difficult to understand.

Now you may think you’re a very confident type, I know I did. But, if you take a look at your life and you’re consistently not getting what you want, believe me, there is a blockage somewhere in your beliefs of your self-worth to have what you desire!

Did you know that who you are is remarkably loving, nice, worthy, exquisite and brilliant? You ARE love. You came from love and you’ll eventually return to love. That is the truth of who you are. We are all that.

Let us return to this conversation of selfishness, self-care, self-esteem, and self-acceptance. Let us bridge the differences between these concepts and make a little sense of it all.

For starters, you can only ever be self-centered. You can only view your world through your self-centered viewpoint. We have been told to think that it is wrong to keep a point of view that is centered in the Self. I’m not going to point fingers at the control agents of our culture and religions, who think it is optimal to maintain power over a group by promising eternal damnation if they didn’t comply with their standards. It is all a piece of the game we are here to play. You can attract your own Law of Attraction Love today and increase your level of creative potential!

The dictionary defines selfish as looking out for yourself, maintaining self-interest, seeking self-fulfilment, egocentric, ungenerous, and caught up in oneself.

So, unless you embrace abundant self-love, kindness, and goodness, what you will be able to give will feel more as a drain than a generous giving.

When You Do Not Like What You Are Getting, Wake Up

Law of Attraction Relationships

Nanette Geiger, Law of Attraction Specialist , writes… …

You have an energetic set point in place now. If you aren’t happy with what’s coming into your experience, you MUST work to own that – take full responsibility and only then can you change it. The Universe is not dumping crap on you because of bad karma. You do not have to tithe like a good little girl and pay your dues prior to attracting your perfect life. It isn’t that way!

If you’re not happy with that which is coming into your life and you do not know what’s in the way, how do you think it’s possible that you’re ever going to improve your point of attraction? Placing affirmations on top of your already not working life is akin to slathering butter cream frosting over a mud cake. Yucky. Can’t eat it. It doesn’t work! Find out how you can empower you right now with the Law of Attraction.

Your vibration and what is being created in your experience is perpetually a match. Like attracts like. So, your absence of financial security, or a relationship, your low self-esteem or the job that you hate isn’t a manifestation of the economy or the city you’re in or anything else external to you.

Your problem is not external – with the economy, the government or who’s in office, your age, your race, your gender or sexual orientation. Your problem is NOT that you have dependent children at home or an un-supportive husband or the fact that you didn’t attend the right schools. You can manifest Law of Attraction Relationships right now and increase your level of positive energy!

The problem is your beliefs concerning what is capable for you. Your limited beliefs are holding you limited. You must 1) figure out what your limiting beliefs are, and 2) release these inhibiting patterns, and 3) replace them with thoughts (and beliefs) that support and empower you. Do this and you will start to see shifts and a new life begins to unfold before your very eyes. I’m talking about literally changing your energetic field.

Does it take practice? Of course! What else is happening in your life? Are you interested in transforming yourself? Will this take some time? Much less time than it took to put those barriers in place. I am going to show you how to do that. We’re going by what neuroscience is now stating is possible. Using the Law of Attraction is amazingly powerful for Relationships Attraction, and is not hard to understand.

As I said previously, we’ve all heard that all things are energy. But get this: Albert Einstein said “ENERGY is EVERYTHING!!!” That’s essential. Grasp that a minute … “ENERGY is EVERYTHING!!!” Your energy is everything. Correct?

A lot of people simply do not get what is running them, or the impact of what’s running them. Your ideas influence and are highly creative. They’re creating all the time. The question is: Are you aware of what you are manifesting from your thoughts? What quality of thoughts are you sending out there and are you aware of them?

Take a gander at the judgments that go through your head every day, negativity and what your inner critic is saying and clean it up. You just do not have to be a victim of your negative thoughts. Clean up your mental monologue and see stupendous results begin to manifest into your life.

How To Go On Trips With Children

Traveling with your hyperactive children? I can only envision how scary it can be. Still, if you know how to handle that sticky situation, your family voyage with your muchkins can be tranquil or even enjoyable.

These are 10 effective steps for parents going on trips with toddlers:

1. When packing and getting ready to go, the key to a less demanding tour with your children is to prepare as much as possible. Having a plan involves having lists as nothing beats getting things in order and reviewable in a sheet of paper or some organizer.

2. Make a grocery list. When on the plane, you can only bring so many things and principally with foodstuff nowadays, there are plenty of security issues. Place those small products on your grocery list and check it off.

3. Jot down all the things that you put in your bag and also the things that you have set for your kids.

4. Pack a case for all of the traveling children aimed for the plane trip. You may also want to prepare a small bag for each of your kids to bring with him or her.

5. The stuff inside your tiny kids’ carry bags must be inexpensive, entertaining, and light for them to bring with them. The point is to bring things that will keep the young ones absorbed or engrossed while on the trot – examples of these are small toys, books, writing materials, and even a small colorful piece of jewelry.

6. Always put your phone number and name on your bag and your kid’s bags.

7. Have a “surprise bag” prepared for the kids on the trip. Do not bring out anything from that ”surprise bag” or reveal anything about it to your kids before the exact instance of the plane ride. The things inside that special luggage are the objects you have personally chosen to bring; the items that you recognize that will keep your kid’s attention while on the trip. As the name itself implies, it will be a bag that will be an absolute surprise for young ones once on the plane.

8. Have a small plastic bag of small-sized snack for your kids.

9. Have a sippy cup prepared because what the kids usually get are cups with a lid on straw and this kind of beverage containers can simply tip over and are not so secure. With a sippy cup, you can transfer beverages onto it, therefore reducing your fears of spillage and potential mess.

10. You must dress your munchkins with comfortable clothes. Never make them put on special dresses that you would want grandma to see them in. Anything can transpire in an airplane and they are children for crying out loud.

Last but not the least, have your travels insured particularly on family trips. If you and your kids will have numerous travels in a span of one year, you can acquire annual family travel insurance to save money on travel insurance. Bear in mind that you can only get the best family holiday insurance if you do a broad travel insurance comparison so shop around for great deals!
